Anomalies appear onscanned sectors.
Analyzing them with your RC Explorer is always beneficial - analyze them whenever it’s possible.
There are4types of anomalies.

Events - cause different events, can be related to Mysteries.
Provide different unique traits e.g.
funding or research points.
Research anomalies - generate research point immediately, speed up your current research or technology.
Breakthrough anomalies - reveal technologies from the Breakthrough branch.
Technology anomalies - allow researching a specific technology, regardless of its position on the technology tree.
Furthermore, there are anomalies likealien artifactswhich speed up scientific research.
They’re available after you invent a breakthrough.
