The closer you are, you’ll lose less time on moving from spot to spot.
Later, you’re able to dismantle the HUB and place it in a new location.
You’ll also spend less resources and materials on expanding the power grid.
This way, you’ll facilitate your growth and buy advanced technologies faster.
Once that happens, the distance to the HUB won’t matter as much.
The Space Elevator takes up a lot of space and is required to unlock new technologies for your base.
You’re going to need a lot of space for your objects and production lines.
The game does not contain the option to edit the terrain, build tunnels, etc.
you’ve got the option to only build foundations that require cement.
This is a good way of expanding your factory in a hostile area.
