When in the corridor on the first floor, examine the Top stair.
Take a look at the Table near the stairs and take aBead-necklace.
Select: Drop bead-necklace on the Stair.
In the corridor on the ground floor, approach the Cupboard covered with some material.
Move the cupboard to block the way through the window.
Activate Holmes’s imagination.
In the kitchen, notice theSolidchairin the Corner.
Notice the Hatch in the kitchen floor (near the door to the corridor) and open it.
Go to the living room and take theCarpetby the wall, next to the bookcase.
Select: Cover with carpet on the Hatch.
Activate Holmes’s imagination.
Examine the Stove and take theRope.
In the living room, take a look at the Chandelier.
Select: Attach rope on the Chandelier and tie the rope to a big Hammer nearby.
Next, hang the Chandelier.
Activate Holmes’s imagination.
After the thieves' visit, kick off the Safe with the key that you’ve taken from Foley.
Examine the things inside.

Connect “Precious safe” with “Long-lost art”.
You will obtain “Hidden art”.
