How to defeat Conjunctivius in Dead Cells?
Conjunctiviusis the second most challenging boss inDead Cells.
Only the battle with the final boss is more demanding.
You should not take a stab at confront him early in the game, i.e.
if you are just getting to know the game mechanics and still gathering the most important upgrades.
To take on this battle you should prepare some good ranged weapons and skills.
you could find amulets on defeated elite enemies.
Having an amulet with this specific trait will significantly help you to survive the confrontation with Conjunctivius.
From time to time, the boss launches a unique attacks.
The mostdangerous is the attack signaled by a red chain mark(example shown on the attached picture).
Conjunctivius also fires green projectiles from time to time.
More troublesome are the tentacles that move from one end of the arena to the other.
However, you gotta use the shield at the right moment to pull it off.
Only after you get rid of all the tentacles will you be able to resume attacking Conjunctivius.
Later in the battle Conjunctivius will get a completely new attack -he will bombard the arena with green projectiles.
This is a very dangerous attack, which can deprive the hero of a large number of health points.
Otherwise, hide behind the shield or make a run at position yourself e.g.
in the lower left corner of the arena and jump at the right moments to avoid individual projectiles.
Be prepared to survive at least two such attacks during the boss fight.
When battling Conjunctivius, healing the character becomes a much bigger problem than in the case of The Concierge.
Do not venture to heal yourself during the tentacle phase, as you will be easily interrupted.
