Dear Diaryis one of the Story Missions inAnthem.
This is the second out of the three missions related to Dax and the Emerald Abyss.
During it you will, e.g.
face a new Titan, visit Talon’s camp and deal with its inhabitants.
All the steps are described in our walkthrough.
Speak with the quest giver.
After that, start another expedition.
Fly towards the Strider belonging to Talon.
There, you will find two groups of Outlaws fighting each other.
Your objective is to secure the area around the Strider, so join the fight.
Enter the Striderand search it - you oughta find a map.
Go to the Sentinels' camp and meet with Dax.
Go to the place marked on the radar.
There, you will encounter anAncient Ash Titan.
you could’t skip this fight.
Even if you focus on other objectives of this mission, you will still have to face this enemy.
Use the same tricks you did inThe Fortress of Dawnmission.
Remember to use the ruins and the Strider as covers.
However, these objects won’t protect you from Titan’s every single attack.
Some of them require you to jump or hover above waves of energy.
Examine the Strider after you are done with the Titan.
Start withfinding a battery.
The item is on the ground - the radar will lead you to it.
Reach the top of the Strider and set up the battery.
Reach one of the Strider’s sides.Destroy the coverwith a melee attack (see the picture above).
Interact with the object to reset the power.
Repeat this action on the Strider’s other side.
Jump down and find the control panel that opens the Strider’s hatch.
Overlay, the item you are looking for, is inside the machine.
Go to the Outlaws' camp.
Dax is there, she will help you fight the enemies.Revive Dax if she falls during the fight.
However, you don’t have to rush towards her immediately.
Do that after you deal with enemies surrounding her.
Also, helping Dax isn’t as important when you are playing in a group.
Your main objective is todestroy 5 Elite Outlaw Turrets.
Their armor can resist a lot, so attack them one by one.
Don’t forget about abilities that won’t necessarily damage them but they will, e.g.
This is important - you could’t respawn here.
Reach the entrance and enterTalon’s Hideout.
you could’t explore this location - the game will play a cut-scene.
After that, the expedition will end.
You are back in Fort Tarsis - listen to the radio conversation.
This starts another quest -Vanishing Act.
