I would recommend that you take a risk and use the stairs right away.
Start running towards the upper level.
Once you’re there, hide behind some of the nearby crates (screen).
We’ll try playing more aggressively here.
Start off by eliminating everyone who’s heading your way.
You won’t have to preserve your ammunition, because you will be able to rearm yourself very soon.
Don’t allow enemy soldiers to throw too many grenades.
You will also have to watch out for your teammates, so you won’t accidentially kill them.
The control room is going to be located to your left.
Start moving forward, because that’s the only way to reach your goal area.
You will have to ensure that no one has survived your attacks.
Otherwise you would have to lean out a few more times while standing near the entrance.
Go ahead and enter this new room.
You will have to destroy a control panel (screen) by shooting at it.
Don’t worry about the electricity, because you’ll perfectly safe here.
I’ve also promised that I will you show you an alternative route to the control room.
As a result, you will have to reach an extremely difficult landing area.
You will have to find yourself looking at the south-western part of the flak tower.
There’s a very small window here and that’s your objective.
You will have to fit inside to get to reach a new route.
It’s very difficult, especially if you haven’t practiced precise landings before.

Once you’ve reached a junction, choose one of the available corridors.
You will reach one of the upper balconies.
Enter a new room.

You will find A LOT of crates here, containing ammunition and medical supplies.
You will also be able to pick up some new weapons, including Recoiless Fire and the M18.
If you want to stick with your original choice of guns, proceed to a nearby ladder.
The ladder will allow you to get to the upper level.
Once this is done, you will have to go to the second ladder.
It leads directly to the control room, so you will have to plan your next moves very carefully.
You shouldn’t climb up right away.
Instead, try throwing a couple of grenades inside.
The choice is up to you.
If you want to risk your life then see to it that you’re carrying a machine gun.
You shouldn’t have any problems finding the control panel.
You will only have to watch out for a guy with a rocket launcher.
