This chapter describes the walkthrough to theSurvivequest inElex.
Its the first story quest in the game, unlocked shortly after you start the game.
How to unlock:Unlocks automatically at the beginning of the game.
Youll soon encounter the first monster on your long path to endgame a Sick Mass Rat.
Not far from there, youll find a destroyed C.R.O.N.Y.
Examining it will unlock a new companion quest A Half Defective Tin Can.
Before you enter the building, it would be a good idea to head left and explore the hill.
There youll encounter a stronger beast, a Runt Biter (dodge its charges to the side).
Enter the building and defeat another rat.
Use the balconies to reach the elevator and summon it.
Leave the ruins, after which youll encounter Duras, a berserker, and gain200XP.
Your choices during the conversation with Duras will influence his attitude towards your character.
it’s possible for you to also refuse, if you wish.
Note traveling with Duras to Goliet means joining the Berserker faction.
Your second chance to join them wont be coming until much further in the game.
If youve accepted Duras proposition, follow him.

Whats more important though, is the fact that Duras will automatically engage all encountered monsters.
During your journey, youll collect a total of400XP, and youll soon encounter larger ruins.
Inside the ruins, youll find the corpses of the clerics as seen on the screen above.
For collecting all of them, you will get100XPand additional200XPfor talking to Duras once you acquire all of them.
No matter whether youve explored the ruins or not, youll proceed towardsGoliet.
Once there, youll get200XPand unlock a new companion quest,A Berserker Warrior.
Approach the gate guarded by Drog to complete the current quest and get400XP.
