In the part design menu, theResearch option is also visible - it is initially locked.
This feature involves manufacturing parts that agree with regulation changes of further seasons.
You mustadvance to April of the season in questionfor the rule changes to be voted on and officially announced.
Only then can you begin your research.
This feature has similar assumptions as designing parts for current season, i.e.
you’re gonna wanna plan the tests and define the direction of the project.
