MAIN QUEST 4: Escape!

Received from:Amata[Vault 101]

Solution:Finally it’s getting more interesting.

The action of this quest takes place three years after you took the G.O.A.T.Amatawill storm into the room.

Listen to her escape plan.Amatawill also give you a10mm pistolwith some ammunition.

It would be a good idea to inspect your surroundings.

You may consider picking up aBB gun, but abaseball batis a more interesting alternative.

Check the drawers and the first aid station on the wall.

Exit the room and notice that one of theguardsis being attacked byradroaches(2 on the map).

Proceed to the eastern door (9 on the map) and agree to travel toVault 101 - atrium.

Move to the south carefully.

Fallout 3

Two enemyguards(O’BrianandRichards) are stationed to the east (2 on the map).

Proceed to the southern door (3 on the map; screen).

Get rid of newradroaches.

Remember to use good melee weapons against them.

In addition to the bugs you’ll also have to take outsecurity chief Hannon.

Once he’s gone, proceed to the upper balcony and head west.

One of thecivilianswill be shouting at you, but you my as well ignore him.

Enter the server room and get rid of a few additionalradroaches.

you might also inspect the body ofFloyd Lewiswhile you'’re there.

Proceed to the western passageway (4 on the map).

Eventually you’ll reach a cell area (5 on the map).

Notice thatAmatais being interrogated by herfather.

You may talk to theOverseeror you could kill him so that loot his body for much needed items.

You may explore the rest of the room if you want to.

Proceed to the north.

This is crucial if you’ve decided to ignore him and not to rescueAmatafrom the interrogation.

You will come across several interesting items, includingbobby pins.

Talk toAmata, however she’ll ignore you if you killed herfather.

Check the drawers and you’ll find a copy of akey to Overseer’s office.

Proceed to the southern room and use one of thekeysto pop crack open the door.

Approach a large terminal (7 on the map) and use it (screen).

Move back a little and wait for the secret tunnel to reveal itself.

Use the switch and kill a singleradroach.

Use the door (8 on the map) to get toVault 101 - entrance.

Use a new switch to unlock the passageway to the main room.

Obviously you must approach the main control panel (2 on the map; screen).

You are also going to be attacked by two additionalguards.

You may kill them or you may start running towards the exit.

If you decide to eliminate them, take your time to explore all nearby rooms.

to finish this quest you must get to the exit (4 on the map).

This is where you’ll be given your final chance to change something with your character.

Use the wooden door to get toCapitol Wasteland.

Make a few steps forward and you’ll receive a confirmation that this quest has ended.
