To complete this quest you have to collect many insect jars which have been scattered throughout Skyrim.
A list of all the jars and their locations:
Alchemist’s Shack-Butterfly.
You will reach this location during the Thieves Guild questLoud and Clear.
The jar can be found atAringoth’sroom, on the upper floor.
The jar can be found at the Orc leader’sLonghouse.
to make it reach it without bloodshed, you will need to completeThe Forgemaster’s Fingers.
Head out ofWinterholdand go west.
On one of the mountain tops you should see a high tower - the Lighthouse.
Head inside and beside the massacred body, on a fireplace, you will find the jar.
