Besides the usual rewards, completing these missions will give you loyalty points for a given faction.
How to unlock new Freelancer Agent Missions?
The Freelancers' kiosk is in the northern part of Fort Tarsis.
Meet withYarrowto get new missions.
Both icons inform you that a new Agent Mission for Freelancers is available.
This kiosk also has an option to check your Freelancer reputation.
This topic is described broadly inReputation and factionschapter.
Meet withYarrowin Fort Tarsis - you are ordered to protect NPCs performing seismic testing.
Fly to the first location.
Remember, you’ve got the option to hover a bit above the ground.
This will help you shoot enemies and avoid their attacks.
You reach Scars' camp.
Watch out for the turrets.
Avoid their fire and make a run at destroy them right after the battle starts.
You also need to eliminate all nearby enemies, including a new pop in called Scar Leader.
Look forcages with Arcanistsand rescue them (interact with a panel on the side of a cage).
Go toRythe’s Work Site.
There, you will face more Scars.
After that, examine the camp.
You now have to findRythe- reach the entrance to the small cave (presented in the picture).
Inside, you will face more enemies, including a mini-boss called Steel Cutter.
Keep this enemy at a distance.
you might use your Ultimate to weaken the enemy faster.
Reach the place whereRythewas defending herself - this will end the expedition.
Go back to the fort and speak withYarrow.
when you are playing with another player) you could have different mission objectives.
These missions can be about, e.g.
rescuing hostages from scorpions, or defeating bandits who stole a valuable cargo.
A Favor to Ask
Meet withYarrow- he asks you to get mementos from fallen Freelancers.
Start an expedition and go to the first marked area.
you gotta eliminate12 predators.
This shouldn’t be difficult for you to do.
Hover above the ground to make this fight even easier.
After eliminating the enemies, start a fire in the place where the monument is.
Go to another location.
This time, you also have to kill Wyverns.
Your objective is to collect4 Links.
Use the radar to find corpses of Freelancers (see the picture above) and get mementos from them.
After searching two bodies, new monsters will appear - be ready to attack them.
After collecting all mementos, go to another monument and set the fire.
Fly to the third site.
This place is overrun with bandits.
You also have toretrieve stolen devices.
Eliminate the bandits first and then look for the items marked by the game.
Lastly, set the fire.
You receive a message about a new group of bandits - they are led by amini-boss.
Use your best abilities (including the Ultimate) to defeat them.
Fulfill Yarrow’s final request by reachingthe last monument.
Interact with it to complete the expedition.
Meet withYarrowin Fort Tarsis to complete the mission.
A Cry for Help
Yarrowasks you to find the missing Strider.
Go to the place where the Strider is.
Once you get there, defeat a group ofWyverns.
Firearms work best against them but you’re able to also use your offensive abilities.
Head to the inactive Strider, go inside and speak withFreelancer Diggs.
you gotta collect4 Tools.
Use the radar to find them (the picture above shows one of the locations).
Go back to Diggs.
Go tothe ambush site.
You don’t have to fight with monsters in this area.
Focus on searching small camps - the radar will lead you to them.
You will find aStrutin one of them.
Go back to Diggs.
Fix the Strider by installing these parts.
You get a new objective -protect the Strider.
you should probably defeatwolves- both “regular” and unique versions that can freeze your Javelin.
Hover in the air and shoot them from a distance.
Once the wolves are dead, you will be attacked by anUrsix.
The game will also block the respawns.
Start fighting this mini-boss, and remember to dodge the rocks thrown by the enemy.
After that, meet withDiggsone more time.
To finish this expedition, move away from the repaired Strider.
Speak withYarrowin Fort Tarsis.
Overdue
Keep following the radar - you will reach Scars' camp.
Watch out for stronger enemies - Scouts and Enforcers.
After defeating them,open 2 cagesto release Arcanists.
The captives inform you about a powerful enemy.
Start tracking it down.
you should probably reach theScars' bigger camp.
Prepare for another battle.
Start the fight by focusing on attacking enemies.
Soon, you will receive an objective in which you will have todestroy Hives.
After defeating the enemies, look for a hole in the ground (see the picture above).
It leads toScar Mine- this is a separate location.
Keep following the radar until you reach the room withStolen Cargo.
The game will now block the option to respawn.
Your next enemy is calledVoraxes the Swarming- a mech.
Keep using attacks that will deplete the machine’s shield and armor.
You should also move around to avoid getting targeted.
Besides the mech, you will also be attacked by regular Outlaws.
You have to eliminate them, too.
However, if they aren’t attacking you, leave them for later.
you could also look for a chance to use AoE attacks when the Outlaws stand near Voraxes.
Meet withYarrowin Fort Tarsis.
Tempting Target
Yarrowasks you to meet with Arcanists that were attacked by Outlaws.
Fly tothe research camp.
Once the area is secure, focus on finding3 clues- your radar will lead you to them.
After inspecting all of them, listen to the conversation withArcanist Elsin.
you’re able to now head to the mainruins.
Find the entrance toThe Bane Engine.
Go to the main room and defeat a large group of Outlaws.
Watch out for elite enemies, e.g.
Your next objective is tofind 4 Echoes(see the picture above).
Take them to the construction in the center.
Deliver all the Echoes to launch the large passage.
Solve a simplepuzzleto bring up the large door.
Do that, and you will unlock the gate.
Reach the smallArcanists campand speak withElsin.
Go back to the main room.
Time foranother battle- you have to defeat a large group of Outlaws.
The respawns are blocked here.
Besides the regular Outlaws, you will also face amini-bossusing a shield.
Destroy it and then venture to defeat the mini-boss before it regenerates the shield.
Win this battle to end the expedition.
Go back to Fort Tarsis and speak withYarrow.
Bad Deal
This mission becomes available after completing the main storyline.Yarrowwants to interrupt Outlaws' auction.
Start an expedition and go to the marked location.
Search the chests and then go to another area.
Interact with the cargo marked by the game (see the picture).
It is a trap.
Fall back to somewhere safe - you will be more difficult to surround.
Go to the auction site.
The game will block the option to respawn.
Eliminate all Outlaws andretrieve 3 fragments.
The enemy will receive reinforcementsevery time when you pick up a fragment.
You get a new objective -eliminate the Buyer.
This enemy has a shield - destroy it as fast as you might.
Use your most powerful attacks when the enemy isn’t protected.
Continue fighting with the Outlaws.
Among them, you will find, e.g.
Enforcers and Frost Brutes.
Fall back or hide in the ruins if your health drops down.
Win this battle to end the expedition.
Speak withYarrowin the Fort Tarsis.
Impostor
Yarrowwants to deal withDiggs.
Your objective is to find and eliminate him.
Start an expedition and go to the place whereRythewants you to lure Diggs out.
The battle is already on.
Join the allies and start eliminating the Outlaws.
Watch out for the elementalists.
If Rythe falls down, it’s possible for you to revive her.
Go toDiggs’s hideout.
It is located in one of the dungeons -The Necropolis.

Luckily, you’re free to fly here.

Fly to the next room.
The game will block the option to respawn.
Start attacking the regular Outlaws - their leader will come soon.
Avoid touching the electrified floor- it can inflict negative status on your character and overheat your Javelin.
Kill enough enemies to make Diggs come out.
Focus your attacks on him.
After that, you’ve got the option to start taking out his yellow bar.
Use your best abilities, including the Ultimate, to eliminate him.
Win this battle to end the expedition.
Meet withYarrow- the man wants to thank you (meet him later at the bar to continue celebrating).
You don’t get these missions from Yarrow.
They may require you to, e.g.
After you complete the game, it’s possible for you to get both standard andlegendary contracts.
Legendary versions are a bit more complex (e.g.
you may be required to complete a series of battles with legendary enemies or mini-bosses).
However, these contracts will reward you with better loot.
