There are several ways to gain experience in the game.

Go to the Shops and City tabs to see what you might do to get SP points.
you’re able to spend SP points on developing the hero - go to theSkillstab.
Hero development is divided into three tabs: Ability, Battle and Special.
The Ability section contains skills like Boost Health, Attack, Combo Speed, etc.
These are the basic skills that increase the hero’s stats.
The Battle tab has abilities used during fights, including new EX moves.
The Special section has additional skills helpful in solving cases or interaction with the world.
