During the entire game you sit inside your starship.

This is how you will fight in every battle.

Every ship has two weapon slots.

PC

When this happens, you will have to stop shooting for a moment.

The maximum number of shots also depends on your ship’s energy.

The indicator around your crosshair shows you your current amount of energy.

PC

Your choice of a spaceship is equally important.

It is more difficult to dodge enemy fire on land.

However, you could hide behind environment objects.

PC

Your ship’s “health” is represented by the bar in the bottom left corner of the screen.

When it goes down drastically, you should think about leaving the battlefield and repair your ship.

Once the bar gets depleted, your ship will explode.

PC

After that you will have to go back to respawn point.

Location in which a fight takes place is the last important element of Starlink’s combat.

Usually, fights on a planet’s surface take place on flat surfaces.

PC

This means that it’s possible for you to be attacked only from four directions.

Use the flight option to get advantage.

Your ship can be attacked from every direction.

PlayStation

Rely on your ship’s maneuverability to make dodges faster.

That is why you should stick out as less as possible.

The darker the ship, the better.
