Return to Mackenzie and leave basement via the door on the right from him.
In lodge ask James about prisoners' things.
He’ll tell you about an administrative wing to which keys has secretary.
Return to secretariat and ask Jenny about key to the store.
She’ll go ask a warden.
When he appears accost him about this, and you receivekeys.
When warden returns to his office, it turns out the secretary has a problem.
When she stops weeping, leave secretariat and go downstairs to administrative corridor.
Open it with keys.
Look at the content of locker.
There is a knife, blotting paper and a mysterious chest.
smack the last one.
punch a blotting paper and use a glass on it.
Notice four small holes.
Then select a sheet with a poem: Holmes will put it under a blotting paper.
Take a knife and stab it at holes, to enlarge them.
In this way you see a letters from a sheet underneath.
Look at them through a glass.
You will notice that those are as following:H,Ca,BrandS.
This, of course, are symbols of elements (hydrogen, calcium, bromine and sulfur).
Put off the glass and both sheets (RMB) and click symbols of those elements on a chest.
Pick up Hans' letter andfeather.
Go to the lodge.
