Depending on the chosen dialogue line, there are two possible solutions.
Solution 1

Whereas your target -Scythe- is inside the sewers (M21:3).
Right after descending, you will be attacked by amummy.
After arriving at the destination, you will have a short conversation withScythe.
Ending 1
Carry out a calm conversation withScythe.
You will learn that the stone sought byGorlagcontains his stone.
Ending 2
Throw an insult atScytheand kill her.
You will unlock [Desecrated Shrine].
