Grain is the first kind of plants that you will grow.
You will learn how to prepare a field for sowing from the chapter aboutgrowingplants.

In the later part of the game, don’t forget about buying new machines.

To sum up, growing corn for the purpose of selling it in shops is not viable.
However, it can be grown so that use it in the fodder for cows or to produce biogas.
