New armor must be purchased, and this option is not available from the beginning of the game.
New armor becomes available for purchase thanks to unlocking the next essences (powers).
After receiving each new essence,visit the Vulgrim merchant.
He will be selling armors associated with the given essence.
After purchasing the armor you gotta put it on.
launch the inventory again and select it from the list.
Each best armor has a list of bonuses to statistics.
It is worth studying these before deciding on the purchase and before choosing a new armor from the list.
