The gameplay inPokemon Questboils down to enteringexpeditions.
During these, you will face different types of enemies.
You have to be prepared in order not to lose any of your characters.
Attack
In general, combat in Pokemon Quest consists in choosing the right types of attacks.
Each pokemon that’s well-trained has two attacks available; one direct and one ranged.
If there are more of the small enemies surrounding you, use ranged attacks.
Each attack has a cooldown, which applies toboth attacks.
The process can be quickened by upgrading a corresponding ability.
Automatic combat
Pokemon Quest offers the possibility of automatic combat.
Just punch the button marked on the screen above.
All your characters will then automatically strike all opponents.
However, you must remember to have the game running all the time.
If you minimize it or open another system, the fight will stop.
Character controls
Pokemon Quest does not allow you to control your team on your own.
It moves automatically towards enemies.
You have to keep this in mind because it makes the fight much harder.
Before each attack, check where each pokemon is to avoid wasting an attack.
However, it’s possible for you to make your characters diverge from your opponents in different directions.
Just hit the button marked on the screen above.
How to fight bosses?
Each boss has several helpers next to him.
Use area attacks as often as possible to destroy them all at once.
If you concentrate on the helpers themselves, the boss will finish your heroes.
Every boss fights the same way, none of them has any special attacks or skills.
The boss always appears at the end of the level and at the end of the map.
Death of characters
At Pokemon Quest, your characters can lose their lives.
Don’t worry about it, however, asevery hero will come round after about 60 seconds.
Unfortunately, pokemon return with a very small amount of life, which is no longer regenerated.
If, therefore, the pokemon gets attacked right away, it will die again.
