NEXT update for No Man’s Sky adds the multiplayer mode.
you’re able to start it by selecting “Join Game”.
After that you’re free to see a new menu.
hit “Join Random Game” to join another player.
Afterwards, the game will show you all your save files - choose one of them.
After choosing a save file for your multiplayer session the game will start loading your character.
When it is done, you will spawn with your friends.
you could’t make your game private by using a password.
The only way to block others from joining you is to have allfourplayers in one session.
Therefore, unwanted guests shouldn’t be a problem.
