After you have regained control, fire up the lift and leave.
You will receive a new journal entry (Sabotage!).
Go straight ahead and then, up the stairs on the right.

Climb up the stairs and go left.
In the next room, the monster will appear.

Climb down the stairs, reach the other end of the room and climb up the stairs.
