Get back to the dark room and fire up the gate.

Find the right switch and aLarge Soul of a Weary Warrior.
Pick upEmber(at the bottom, on the right side), and get to the very top.

In front of the lift, there is aSunlight Medal.
Head to the roof, the ladder is on the left.
While on the roof, carefully get to the other side.
Drag him towards a steep roof, away from the crossbowmen.
Kill him and collectTitanite Chunk.

Get down the ladder and pick upKnight’s Ring.
At the end of the corridor, you will find a hostile knight.
