The big highlight of the new Pokemon games are the Mega Evolutions.
To unlock them however, it’s crucial that you get a certain stone to equip the Pokemon with.
Here is the list of the evolvable Pokemon, and where to get the stones.
A man gives it to You.
Gengar -Gengarite
Lavarre City.
A woman to the north-east of the gym gives it to You
Aerodactyl -Aerodactylite
Ambrette Town.
One of the scientists in the Fossil Lab
Absol -Absolite
Kiloude City.
Defeat Your rival in the after-game.
Mewtwo -Mewtwonite x/y
Depending on the version, You receive it after he is caught.
Gardevoir -Gardevorite
Luminose City/ Cafe Soleil.
T rade with Diantha to get it.
Alakazam -Alakazamite
Reflecting Cave
Aggron -Aggronite
(Y ONLY!)
Second level rock of the Cyllage gym.
The X version contains Tyranitarite for a Tyranitar
Banette -Banettite
Chamber of Emptiness (cave on Road 22).
Garchomp -Garchompite
Tower in the ruins of the Victory Road.
Gyardos -Gyardosite
Waterfalls to the south-east of Courier Town
Heracross -Heracrossite
(Y ONLY!).
Left to the entrance once You get to Santalune Forest.
If You have X however, You will get Pinsirite for Your Pinsir.
Houndoom- Houndoomitie
(Y ONLY!).
Halfway through, there is an area where two skaters skate around.
However, If You have X, You will find Manectite for Your Manectric.
Kangaskhan -Kangaskhanite
Glittering cave.
Take the first turn right and You will find the stone at the end of the corridor.
Mawile -Mawileite
Second floor of Shabboneau Castle, to the left.
Medicham -Medichamite
In front of a well in Laverre
Scizor -Scizorite
Behind Abbomasnow in the Frozen Cave.
