To go on to completing the mission proper, you require a key.
To pop swing open the crate with the key, you have to defeat scores of Toros and Serpentaurs.
Collect the key and go to the gate.
After you cross it, follow the marker.
If you want to, you could divert and find the boss of this location - Frozen Widow.
Also here, you findcash, in the location with flooded caves.
Go to the building with the instructions in and return to Smith.
This ends the mission.

Frozen Widowis behind the gate that you open with the key.
It is vulnerable to fire.
These are elite megarachnoids.
After you kill them, return to the fight with the Widow.
For defeating the boss, you receive an achievement.
