This day works as an introduction to the game.
You don’t have to do much.
Most of it consists of cutscenes introducing you to the realities of Sharpwood.
At the same time, it is also a tutorial.
You learn how to carry out tactical missions, solve cases, and take calls.
The most important activity of the day is creating the story of Jack Boyd.
This is presented in the form of a letter, in which Jack is answering his children’s questions.
You decide how they are answered.
22 November
You have “basic” officers at your disposal.
After you deal with the calls the day ends.
You will receive badges, which can be later used to buy new equipment and hire staff.
At the end of the day, you will have to assign officers to their shifts.
Choose six moderately experienced officers.
Two of them should have about 300 experience points.
23 November
The shift starts with notices about absent officers and leave requests.
Then you will go to the list of officers currently on duty along with the equipment assigning screen.
Additionally, you will also receive a call informing you about a corpse found in a drift.
After the day ends, you will be able to exchange badges for staff members and equipment.
Assign a minimum of six officers to the next shift.
Ideally, the best ones you have.
At the end of the day hire strong, and what’s more important, loyal officers.
The following day will require answering standard calls as well as completing a tactical mission.
November 25th
You have to assign police officers to this case.
This time, someone has stolen documents.
Once again, you need well-developed police officers - a new tactical mission awaits you the next day.
November 26th
You start the day by testifying on behalf of Jack Boyd’s secretary.
However, your income should be enough for you to pay for this week.
At the end of the day you might play a game of blackjack.
If you agree, you will get a chance to recruit a mole in the police station.
This person wants you to pay him every week.
Otherwise, he will inform the headquarters.
From now on you have to watch out for any potential mistakes.

Carter will arrive today.
During the upcoming week, you will be competing with him on who has a bigger number of pop-tabs.
You lose if Carter gets more than you at the end of the week.
Carter’s collection will increase with each consecutive day.
Winter Nights mission is a good way of increasing your own collection.
For the next few days you will have to choose meals for your subordinates.
