This is a short, introductory quest.
How to start the quest?
After reading the letter, you oughta go toHarbinger’s Watch(M1).
This is a new location.
It lies in the bottom-right corner of the world map.
the village’s main herald.
He’s inHarbinger’s Retreat(M3,3).
After approachingVatnir, The conversation will start automatically and you will be able to hear a short sermon.
The ceremony will be interrupted by noises from the outside.
Everyone will run out of the building, and so should you.
Fighting The Messenger
The reason for the noise is the appearance of a dragon -The Messenger.
Finding Vatnir
After killingThe Messengeryou will find thatVatnirdisappeared - you have to look for him.
to get there, you have to interact with the skull hanging inVatnir’s Room(M3,2).
Clicking the skull will trigger a dialogue window.
Chose one of the option to initiate the secret passage.
In the next room, you will findVatnir- talk to him.
You also have to choose whether to killVatniror spare him.
Should you decide to killVatnir, you will later have to convinceHarbinger Hafjorn, that it wasn’t you.
Regardless,Hafjornwill become the new main herald, and you will have finished the missionAn Honored Guest.
You will also get another quest -To Rise and Decline.
Note- you should also search theSecret Chamberin order to take theStone Relicfrom a hidden chest.
It will be useful later on, during theTo Rise and Decline.
