For finding and collecting all 28 pieces, you will receive the Ultimate explorer trophy.
Gold bolts are one of the three things that you might collect and / or solve inRatchet & Clank.
For acquiring all 28 of them you will be given theUltimate Explorertrophy.
Get on top of the smaller box and jump to the wall of boxes on the other side.
Collect all of it, get back to the stairway and head to the left to continue your journey.
Get back to the place where you’ve spoken with Skidd and head towards the area where sandsharks where.
Jump through the swamp and head straight ahead, sticking to the wall on the right side.
Continue your journey along the wall on the right side.
Jump through another swamp, head to the right and jump through another trap.
To collect it you must first acquire both theMagnetboots from Nebula G34, as well as theJetpack from Gaspar.
Head straight ahead and climb up the magnetic ramp in the distance.
Afterwards, activate the mechanism.
Don’t miss on the Raritarium deposit located behind the mechanism.
Attachment points for your harpoon will appear above the ground - use them to get to a new terrain.
When you’re back on solid ground, head to the left and eliminate all the enemies.
The Gold Bolt is lying at the end of this path, on top of a track.
Afterwards, turn to the right and climb up the elevation that the dinosaur-like monsters where standing on.
Jump on top of the pillars that contained the force field a second ago.
Turn left and head to the end of the wall, where you must turn to the right.
Get to the end as well and jump to the area below it, divided by another force field.
There’s a Gold Bolt here.
Collect all of the items, eliminate enemies and head straight ahead to the next area.
From here you must jump to the neighboring track (jumping through a blue ring).
The Gold Bolt is located at the end of this elevated track.
Get back to the place you had to activate a button that caused the sewers to get flooded.
Go along the latter one and swim through a narrow canal.
After a short while you will reach a small room with the Gold Bolt inside.
Head to the south-western section of the map -the exact location can be found on the above screenshot.
Afterwards, collect the Gold Bolt.
Remember to not use your Jetpack here, as you will fall down from it.
At the end of the ramp there will be a mechanism - activate it.
Get to the other side of the cave, activate the three connected buttons and head to the surface.
Fly on top of the mentioned mountain with your Jetpack, where a Gold Bolt can be found.
Wait for the lava to stop erupting from the platform and quickly collect the bolt with your Jetpack.
Stand next to the Trespasser terminal again.
Do so and pick up a Gold Bolt from the roof.
Destroy the tank, go through the bridge, but don’t go to the left yet.
Instead, go to the right, climb up the ledges and jump to the other side.
Soon you should reach another Gold Bolt.
Afterwards, get back to the place you’ve set up the robots.
Get on top of the elevation, cross the bridge and jump on the second Springbot.
Now throw the bomb to initiate the passage leading to the Gold Bolt and pick it up.
Planet Quartu - bolt #19
This bolt can be acquired after the encounter with Mrs. Zurkon.
After you get through the entrance use the mechanism inside to initiate the next door.
Fly inside, then over the lava and pick up the Gold Bolt located there.
Get back on the platform you’ve fought the boss on.
Head to the west, to a room with a monitor inside.
There’s a button located inside of this area.
Press it and a short cut-scene showing the location of the next Gold Bolt will initiate.
Stand on the edge of the raft and jump into the water.
Dive under it and head to the left - there will be Gold Bolt located underneath a ring-like object.
Afterwards, dive underwater and swim through the cave located beneath you.
Resurface on the other side and climb up the rocks to reach solid ground.
Climb up the ledges and continue straight ahead, eliminating the enemies on your way.
Get rid of it and a Gold Bolt will appear on the edge.
You must now get there.
Jump into the water and swim to the island-like object.
Climb up the wall to reach the top of the rock and collect the Gold Bolt located there.
Stand on the edge from where you should be able to see the Gold Bolt.
Jump down, eliminate the enemies and use the elevator to get to the upper floor.
Head along this route and go through gates.
Inside of this tunnel there’s the Gold Bolt.
Collect it and finish the race.
Shooting it will lower a ladder that can be used to reach the upper level.
When you’re done eliminating enemies, direct the camera towards the entrance you came here through.
To the left of it there’s a pair of large boxes with blue lights on them.
Jump across the moving platforms to reach the last Gold Bolt in the game.
