In Red Dead Redemption 2 there are some crafting mechanics.
They allow you to produce ammunition, food, medicine and baits.
How to start crafting?
In Red Dead Redemption 2, for start crafting you have tostop.
Unlike other games, you could’t craft ammunition or food on the run or on horseback.
In addition, it is not enough to merely stop; you have torestor set upthe camp.
It depends on what you want to create.
Some items require a bonfire.
a few meters away from your horse.
If you are already at a suitable distance, hold down the triangle for PS4, Y for XBOX.
Your character will then crouch on the ground.
You will see 3 possible options:Set up the camp, Crafting and Stand Up.
If you smack the “craft” option, a crafting window will appear.
Setting the camp
you’re able to set up a camp in RDR2 in two ways.
When you hit it, the character will set a camp.
By the bonfire you cancraft ammunition, weapons, food, medicines, baits and horse-care items.
it’s possible for you to also prepare items at a fire in the main camp.

Horse Care
Horse Meals
Ingredients: 3 hay or 3 beets.
How to unlock:Finish the main quest - Pouring Forth Oil.
Effects: Replenishes horse’s stamina and health.
Horse Ointment
Ingredients: 1 sage, 1 common bulrush and 1 yarrow.
How to unlock: You get the recipe at the beginning of chapter 2.
Special Horse Stimulant
Ingredients: 2 sage, 2 common bulrushes and 2 wild carrots.
Potent Horse Stimulant
Ingredients: 1 sage, 1 common bulrush.
How to unlock:Available since the beginning.
Effects: Replenishes horse’s stamina.
Special Horse Medicine
Ingredients: 2 ginseng, 2 common bulrush and 2 wild carrots.
How to unlock:Finish the main quest - Pouring Forth Oil (chapter 2).
Effects: Regenerates horse’s health.
Potent Horse Medicine
Ingredients: 1 ginseng, 1 common bulrush.
Special Horse Reviver
Ingredients: 2 ginsengs, 2 mushrooms and 2 wild carrots.
How to unlock:Finish the main quest - American Distillation (chapter 3).
Effects: Regenerates and reinforces horse’s health.
Hunting
Cover Scent Lotion
Ingredients: 1 scent gland.
Effects: Disguises the smell of the hero, making it difficult for dangerous animals to detect him.
Predator Bait
Ingredients: 1 stringy meat and 1 blackberry.
Effects: Lures predators.
Potent Herbivore Bait
Ingredients: 1 vanilla flower, 1 snowdrop and 1 parasol mushroom.
Effects: Lures herbivores.
Potent Predator Bait
Ingredients: 1 griffty fish meat and 1 blackberry.
Effects: Lures nearby predators.

Volatile Dynamite
Ingredients: 1 dynamite and 1 Animal Fat.
Improved Throwing Knife
Ingredients: 1 throwing knife, 1 eagle Feather.
Poison Throwing Knife
Ingredients: 1 throwing knife, 1 oleander sage.
Volatile Fire Bottle
Ingredients: 1 moonshine and 1 Animal Fat.

Horning Tomahawk
Ingredients: 1 Tomahawk and 1 owl Feather.
Improved Tomahawk
Ingredients: 1 Tomahawk and 1 eagle Feather.
Ammunition
Dynamite Arrow
Ingredients: 1 arrow, 1 dynamite and 1 eagle feather.
Fire Arrow
Ingredients: 1 arrow, 1 Animal fat and 1 flight feather.
Poison Arrow
Ingredients: 1 arrow, 1 oleander sage and 1 flight feather.
How to unlock: You get the recipe at the end of chapter 2.
Improved Arrow
Ingredients: 1 arrow and 1 flight feather.
Small Game Arrow
Explosive Cartridge
Ingredients: weapon and 1 animal fat.
Incendiary Buckshot
Ingredients: 1 moonshine, 1 shotgun.
How to unlock: Finish the main quest - Pouring Forth Oil.
Split Point Cartridge
Ingredients: regular ammo.
Remedies
Special Bitters
Ingredients: 2 sage and 1 burdock root.
Effects: Increases stamina level.
Potent Bitters
Ingredients: 1 sage and 1 burdock root.
Special Miracle Tonic
Ingredients: 3 burdock roots.
Effects: Increase Stamina, Health and Dead Eye.
Potent Miracle Tonic
Ingredients: 1 Indian tobacco.
Special Health Cure
Ingredients: 1 slander and 1 yarrow.
Effects: Regenerates health.
Potent Health Cure
Ingredients: 1 slander.
Special Snake Oil
Ingredients: 2 Indian tobacco.
Effects: Fully replenishes Dead Eye.
Potent Snake Oil
How to unlock:Available since the beginning of RDR2.
