After incidents in Ridorana Cataract you could chase with Rikken and his friends.
To do that go to a front of Reddas’s residence and talk twice with Rikken.

If you loose, you repeat the same race.
To run straight you have to pressXandOby turn.
By pressing only a few timesXyou sidetrack to the left and by pressingOto the right.
First of all you have to press them rhythmically so Vaan didn’t stop at every step.
You have to cut corners too.
At the beginning it has no matter but later your opponents are much faster and cutting corners is necessary.
Just before bend to the right (start to pressOquickly).
Wait a while and when Vaan will be orientated straight to the finish line instead of pressingOstart to pressingXquickly.
Race is finished when you reach the stairs [screen4].
Despite all appearances Raz is the fastest one.
However it is not visible at the beginning.
His biggest problem is to keep the balance - In first races he collapses and stays behind.
In later races your victories will depend whether you “help” him in collapsing or not.
