Think over each upgrade, and read through their descriptions.
- attempt to use unique ships solutions - it will provide more tactical variety for your fleet.
Additional upgrade points are awarded when a ship’s captain reaches new level.
You don’t have to spend all your points at once - try saving some for later.
Some upgrades are only available on the highest levels.
make a run at hire bigger units as soon as you get a slot.
you’re free to name your ships in the yard - it will make commanding them easier.
Distributing crew points comes free, but think twice, since redistributing them is rather expensive.
In the shipyard, you might inspect every ship closely - the camera works just like in the game.
