This option is only available to those players who on the Sword Coast have sided with the Natives.
The quest is triggered upon your arrival at the Isle of the Dead[#1].
The first one is received from the guardTaoby the entrance to the land[#3].
Your goal is to brew a potion which will allow you to cross over to the underworld.
You’ll needBlack lotusandGrave dustto make it (see:Black LotusandGrave Dust).
Both items are found in the further parts of the island.
Go through the gate opened for you byTao, and face aWarrior[#4]lurking there.
Remember to remain cautious - there are enemies everywhere!
Tell him that the search is over to receive thePotion of false deathfrom him.
Lie down on the altar and drink the mixture.
The witch can create a tool for you to be able to communicate withSteelbeard- theSkull sceptre.
She needs four pieces to combine it.
Bring her:
when you obtain all the items, report back toNahele.
This will allow you to summonSteelbeard’s ghostany time and place!
