You will get it from Gordon after activating the first mission.
Ice Totemmust be active!
Ice Shrine, in the room with the electric fields.
On the right you find a cliff and a lever which activates a ladder.
Go further, up the ladder.
You will find the book at the end of the path.
Sun Totemmust be active!
The book is behind a wall, in the room with a blue switch on the ground.
Storm Totemmust be active!
At theStorm Shrine, right after entering, on the right, between stalactites.

Head to theIce Shrine.
The platform that was connecting the both sides is now gone.
Jump down and head left.
You will be attacked by Hobbes.
The book is on the right, between trees.
Between the beams under the augments shop and The Box of Secrets.
Right next to theSun Shrineentrance.
In the cemetery, behind one of the graves, next to the main square.
After exiting theSun Shrine, on the road on the left side, behind a rock.
After exiting theStorm Shrine, on the right, behind a rock.
