You must meet him in his house.
When you reach that place the game will move you on a desert.
There, you’re able to see your hero buried in sand.
Call your mount and get out.
Climb your mount and find your armor and weapons.
They are inside of an enemy camp.
Recover your gear and killThe Scarab.
