New elements of Lara’s equipment can be obtained in two main ways.
Many items are unlocked during the gameplay in the main campaign.
Lara usually finds them without our actions (e.g.
the lighter) or gets from friendly persons (e.g.
the compound bow).

NOTE
Torch
Automatically after starting the game.
Pry Axe
Automatically when exploring the bunker in the location Coastal Forest.
Climbing Axe
Automatically after returning to Roth with his backpack (the location Mountain Village).
Fire Striker
Automatically after activating the radio tower (the location Base Exterior).
Lighter + Fire Arrow
Automatically after getting to the rescue helicopter (the location Shantytown).
Both elements are obtained at the same time.
Fire arrows can be used both in the fight and to fire up some objects.
Grenade Launcher
Automatically during fleeing from Solarii base (the location Solarii Fortress).
Rope Ascender
Automatically after defeating mini-boss on Endurance (the location Cliffside Bunker).
WEAPON NAME
Makeshift Longbow
Automatically after getting to the hung corpse in the location Coastal Forest.

Recurve Bow
Obtaining three bow parts is required.
Compound Bow
Automatically after exploring the galleon in the location Shipwreck Beach.
Lara obtains this bow from Jonah after returning to the beach survivor’s camp.
Competition Bow
Semi-Auto Pistol
Automatically after defeating the first bandit in the location Mountain Temple.
Tactical Pistol
Automatically after the helicopter crash (the location Summit Forest).
Lara obtains this pistol from Roth and this takes place right after the helicopter crash, i.e.
after escape from Solarii base.
Magnum Pistol
Obtaining three pistol parts is required.
Trench Shotgun
Automatically during exploration of the monastery for the first time (the location Chasm Monastery).
The shotgun can be also used to destroy barricades.
Pump-Action Shotgun
Obtaining three shotgun parts is required.
Assault Rifle
Obtaining three rifle parts is required.
