Vyraal can be found in the north-eastern part ofCerobiSteppe.

So count on your own.

You’ll have to attack him with your weapons.
Additionally the normal attack may causeconfuse.
After the fight you’ll recover Vierra’s Rucksack.
Viera won’t reward you here.
To collect the prize you’ll have to go and talk with her back in Whitecap.
Bounty:3500 gil, Halberd, Crystal Shield and Vyraal’s Dragon Scale.
